Employment Pass (EP)
For foreign professionals hired by a Singapore company in managerial, executive, or specialist roles. It’s meant for higher-skilled talent with recognized qualifications and relevant experience.
Training Pass (TP)
For foreigners coming to Singapore for short-term training without being employed or paid by a local company. It’s strictly for learning, not working.
Training Employment Pass (TEP)
For foreigners on short, paid training programs or internships in Singapore. It allows limited employment for training purposes only.
Work Permit (WP)
For semi-skilled or unskilled foreign workers in approved sectors like construction, manufacturing, marine, or services. It’s quota-controlled and tied closely to the employer.
NTS Work Permit
A type of Work Permit for workers from Non-Traditional Source countries, allowed only in specific MOM-approved sectors. Employers must meet stricter eligibility requirements.
